FIELDSIDE

Fieldside is an older building that has recently been refurbished and refurnished.  It is set to one side of the camping area overlooking the adjacent fields.

The main entrance opens on to a ‘Boot Room’ with hook rails and plenty of space for outdoors boots/shoes and clothing.  The facing door leads to an 18 bedded dormitory which has a partition at one end with a further 3 beds that may be used as a first aid room or as additional Leaders’ accommodation.

The Boot Room also gives access to a large room that doubles as a dining area and lounge/activity room.  This room has tables, chairs and easy chairs.

The kitchen is fully equipped for 30 people and has a fridge/freezer and large cooker.  Fitted cupboards provide some storage and 2 mobile sideboards in the main room offer additional cupboard/equipment space.

There is a 3-bedded Leaders’ room with an inter-connecting door to the area containing toilets, washbasins and showers.
 

A variety of games, swingball, short tennis, badminton and balls etc. are freely available
