There are a number of ways of volunteering to support the site.

Task Force Days

Help us to maintain and develop the site by coming along to one of our working parties. We have jobs suitable for all ages and abilities and you are always guaranteed a warm welcom. Come for all or part of the day. You will need to bring a packed lunch but refreshments are provided. Please wear old clothes, strong shoes or boots. Gloves can be provided.

2024 task force dates: 10th Feb, 9th Mar, 13th Apr, 11th May, 8th Jun, 13th July

We are offering a free night in Blackthorn free to groups who join a Task Force day and help us maintain and develop the site. Groups must be Guide age and older and have adult volunteers to support them throughout the day. Please get in touch if you would like to bring a group so we can find suitable activities for your group to support us with.

Monday Marvels

If a weekday suits you more the join our Monday Marvels 10.30am until 3pm, undertaking tasks and supporting the ongoing maintenance of Northern Heights.

Events 

Throughout the year we run a number of events at Northern Heights and are looking for volunteer to help. This can be a one off or an ongoing commitment.

Activities

Most activities at Northern Heights are self led by the groups. We do offer instructor led archery and orienteering. If you are interested in volunteering for either please get in touch. Archery instructors are required to hold an Archery GB qualification, if you are interested but don’t have this please get in touch and we can discuss options for supporting your training.
